TEDxEindhoven (KvK number 64931196, RSIN number 855908877) is a 100% volunteer-led non-profit organisation, managed and run by a team of volunteers who dedicate their time, skills, professionalism and energy to organize events, foster the TEDxEindhoven community and contribute to society. None of us, including our board members and independent advisors, gain any compensation or profit for our activities.
We lead our organization following the principles here below:
- No personal salaries, payments, rewards or compensations are issued to any of the members of TEDxEindhoven, including its board members and independent advisors;
- All gains by TEDxEindhoven from its events are kept to sustain the organization’s needs or invested in future events and activities. TEDxEindhoven only makes payments for those goods and services which are required for event production and team maintenance, e.g. hosting, marketing, licence costs, etc.;
- TEDxEindhoven only sells event tickets to cover the required cost gap for event organization.
This means that we depend entirely on our partners, sponsors and donors, without whom we would not be able to create TEDx events and generate our network. We have the privilege of working with creative and inspiring organisations, and responsible companies with a clear commitment to their ESG goals, all of which help us financially, by offering their services or by pulling strings.
