We are seeking a talented and passionate WordPress Developer with expertise in the Elementor plug-in to join our team. This is a volunteering opportunity to fully update the TEDxEindhoven website, connect analytics tools, and help improve SEO. It can serve as a valuable summer project for a student or recent graduate looking to enhance their portfolio and gain practical experience in website development.
Responsibilities:
- Update and redesign the TEDxEindhoven website using WordPress and the Elementor plug-in.
- Connect and configure analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to track website performance and user behavior.
- Conduct a comprehensive SEO audit of the website and suggest improvements to enhance search engine visibility.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or bugs that may arise during the development process.
- Ensure the website meets accessibility and usability standards.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including experience with the Elementor plug-in.
- Solid understanding of web development principles and best practices.
- Experience in connecting and configuring analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with SEO techniques and best practices.
- Prior experience working on website development projects or personal portfolio showcasing relevant work is a plus.
Duration and Commitment:
The duration of the project will be agreed upon between the candidate and the TEDxEindhoven team, keeping in mind the summer period and the candidate’s availability.
