Speakers Coordinator (Volunteer Position)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Speakers Coordinator to manage the speaker selection and communication process for our TEDx events. As the Speakers Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in identifying captivating speakers and ensuring a seamless speaker experience.

Responsibilities:

• Identify potential speakers whose ideas align with the event’s theme and objectives.
• Reach out to speakers, communicate event details, and coordinate logistics for their participation.
• Maintain regular communication with confirmed speakers, addressing their needs and inquiries.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager and Side-Events Coordinator to design event programs.
• Organize speaker rehearsals and provide guidance to ensure impactful presentations.
• Facilitate Q&A sessions and interactions between speakers and the audience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in speaker management or talent coordination is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with speakers.
• Passion for discovering thought-provoking ideas and stories.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Commitment to attending bi-weekly team meetings (80% presence).
