Side-Events Coordinator (Volunteer Position)

We are in need of a proactive and organized Side-Events Coordinator to oversee the planning and execution of our pitch and theme events. As the Side-Events Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating memorable and engaging experiences for our attendees.


  • Collaborate with the Program Manager and Speakers Coordinator to plan event programs.
  • Coordinate with venue partners and vendors for side-events logistics and arrangements.
  • Attend bi-weekly team meetings to report progress and discuss event plans.
  • Oversee side-event setup and execution on event days.
  • Work with the Communication and Partnerships team to promote side-events and engage attendees.
  • Provide training and support to team members involved in side-events coordination.
  • Explore innovative ideas to enhance side-events and attendees’ experiences.


  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Passion for creating memorable and impactful event experiences.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Commitment to attending bi-weekly team meetings (80% presence).
