Partnerships Manager (Volunteer Position)

We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Partnerships Manager to lead our Partnerships Team in securing sponsorships and valuable partnerships for our TEDx events. As the Partnerships Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial success and growth of our events.


  • Identify and approach potential sponsors and partners for the events.
  • Develop and negotiate sponsorship packages and agreements.
  • Lead bi-weekly team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and partnership strategies.
  • Ensure 80% team meeting attendance and facilitate effective communication within the team.
  • Collaborate with the Program and Production Team to understand sponsorship needs and benefits.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing sponsors and partners to enhance long-term collaboration.
  • Provide training opportunities for team members to enhance their skills in partnership management.


  • Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or fundraising is preferred but not required.
  • Strong negotiation and networking skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Commitment to attending bi-weekly team meetings (80% presence).
