Experience Coordinator (Volunteer Position)

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Podium Coordinator to enhance the ambiance and visual appeal of our TEDx events. As the Podium Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating an inspiring and visually captivating stage setup.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Production Manager to design and plan the stage layout and podium setup.
• Coordinate the construction and decoration of the event stage.
• Coordinate the construction and decoration of the foyer.
• Attend bi-weekly team meetings and actively contribute to discussions and planning.
• Oversee the stage setup and teardown on the event day.
• Collaborate with the Technical Coordinator of the venue, to integrate lighting and visual effects with the decor.
• Ensure the stage design complies with safety regulations and accessibility guidelines.
• Provide training and guidance to team members involved in stage design and setup.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in stage design or event setup coordination is beneficial but not required.
• Creative thinking and an eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to event requirements.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Commitment to attending bi-weekly team meetings (80% presence).
